Little update on Sarah Kate

Sarah and Bennie on their wedding day ~ June 5, 2005

I love pictures, so since I'm updating you all on Sarah it's only fitting that I post some pictures of her right? Good! So glad you agree! lol

This is a picture of Sarah Kate with her "baby" Samson. I thought I'd give everyone an update on her since you all helped pray this little miracle into existence!!!

This is a picture of Sarah with Bennie (the only time I've ever seen him without a hat was on their wedding day!) He is a sweetheart and I love him like he's one of my own kids. Come to think of it, he is one of my kids! lol

So...here comes the update:
She is is soooo pregnant! Miserably sick and tired kind of pregnant! And soooo grateful for every wave of nausea and drop dead tired day!!

Next Tuesday she has her first ultrasound. And guess who has been invited to come? I'm so excited! And you know that if this Grandmother gets a chance that there will be a picture to share! Ohh you all are going to be so tired of pictures of this kid over the next 18 yrs or so! lol

Which reminds me...I need a name for this little person to call me. Any ideas?

This is sooo exciting! Personally, I don't like to hear kids call their Grandmas by their first name..i.e..Grandma Lisa. So, I asked that the kids teach my grandson to call me Grammy and the other one is Grandma. I don't know if it's working yet, because he's just two and I don't see him that often right now. But, there's an idea for you! Blessings, Lisa

NO WAY will we be tired of grandbaby photos! I know I certainly don't get enough of my little granddaughters. Will continue prayers for a healthy baby and little morning sickness.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that Sarah is so ill. I hope it passes soon.

I think it's always kind of funny to see what names kids come up with on their own. When my niece Jana was little, she couldn't say "Beth." It came out "Bluh." So for a couple of years I was Aunt Bluh. LOL

Hugs, Bluh

We could all give you brilliant name ideas and that lil' one will call you what he or she WANTS to call ya!! Isn't that how it goes? Probably something cuter than we could come up with.

CONGRATS!

I don't know where my sister came up with "Mimi", but that's what her grandkids call her. I like Grams or Grammy, but as someone else mentioned earlier, the kid(s) will call you whatever they think of...enjoy! hopefully by the end of today(tues), i'll finally know the gender of my grandbaby. if so, i'll be posting it asap! hugz~kbear

I am SO happy to hear things are going well with her pregnancy! I can tell you are so excited! In my house my mom is Nana, and my hubbies mom is G-mom (because she felt to young to be called grandma lmao).

Thats great news!!! wonderful pictures, both Sarah and Bennie are beautiful. They will have a gorgeous baby. People say the same thing about my husband and his hat. Take care.

Congrats this is wonderful news. Nobody gets tired of children. I hate to tell you but your first grandchild decides your name.. you don't get to pick it. One day they will just come with what you are to be called.
When I first became a grandmother I wanted to be called Nana. Well my grandson had other plans and he started calling me NayNay at four month. So I am now Nay or NayNay.
But here is where you can go to get a whole list of names:
